Awesome food spot Very authentic Italian, very nice atmosphere, great service, great food. I had the Clemenza sub 8 inch Fresh ingredients...roast beef with mozzarella, added lettuce, tomato , onions and mayo, 14 . So good! I will going back often love this place
I ran in tonight to get some sauce and fresh, grated cheese. The people were so friendly and nice! I felt at home and was so appreciative of their service! The sauce was outstanding!!!!! It's just as good as my mother's sauce! The cheese was perfect
As a self proclaimed connoisseur of Tripe for many many years of both Italian and Spanish varieties, I must say that the Tripe here is probably one of if not the best I have ever had. Incredible!!!! It's a Wednesday special of theirs and is not to be missed if your into more adventerous foods. A low calorie great source of high Protein and other nutrients especially for the gym rats!!!
Went to J&S with a coworker who insisted I must try it. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly workers inside, a cast of local characters enjoying a Friday afternoon lunch, and a strong aroma of italian specialties. I tried a rice ball, followed by a chicken cutlet sub with mozz and broccoli rabe. Both items were exceptional.. perhaps among the best so far I've experienced at an italian deli. This combined with the great service made this lunch so memorable. Looking forward to returning to J&S to try the other goodies that I didn't have room for.

Love this place. Been in jersey for a week, eaten here 4 times, twice a day. I've traveled around the country and I've never gone back to one spot like that. Food is terrific, people there are better. Not sure what I'm gonna do when I get back home and need a sandwich. Nothing back home compares.
I must first say that I am the most pickiest person with everything, but with my food, I'm very, very particular and anal. I had a taste for a turkey bacon egg/cheese. Well done, it is a must. I called J & S Pork Store and asked if they were still making breakfast sandwiches because it was almost 1 pm. The nice lady on the phone told me to hold on she's going to check, and she came back and said, "Yes." I ordered, and when I tell you, it was the very best turkey egg/cheese on the roll that I've had since moving out here to Jersey. I am so satisfied and happy that I was able to get that simply amazing sandwich today. I couldn't wait to get home and make me a cup of coffee to go with my sandwich. My daughter was home, so I told her she had to try some of my sandwich. She was like Omygoodness. This sandwich is fire. Where did you get this from.. I was like, Im going to send you they info Please tell me that I can come and buy that sandwich at least 3 times a week just how it was today, I promise to come early. The problem I have with place is. Every time I go in I can’t make up my mind what to get. The selection is incredible. And everything is fantastic. It’s so hard to keep it simple here. The service and staff are great. So with that said on my next visit when I order I’m just going to say “ Surprise Me” I know I won’t be disappointed. Wishing J&S a prosperous 2025
